I earned my BS in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, after which I went to the University of Rochester, where I earned my Master's degree, also in Chemistry. I decided I wanted to pursue a medical career, so I took some post-baccalaureate biology classes and then matriculated to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where I received my Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Currently I am working as a Research Assistant for Dr. James Wrobel at Department of Metabolism, Endocrinology, and Diabetes (MEND). My research interests involve diabetic wound care, since many foot patients suffer from the disease and experience foot or leg loss. My hobbies include music, photography, and traveling.
