I am a postdoc at University of Michigan, in the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics. I have completed my undergraduate studies in Physics at the University of Catania, Italy, and in Mathematics at King's College London, UK. I have earned a master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, UK and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of South Florida in Tampa. My research interests lie in geometric topology (knot and manifold theory), non-associative algebra (cohomology of racks) and machine learning (neural networks).
