Ph.D. Student
Driven by the vision of transforming clinical decision-making through data-driven pathology, David is a 1st-year doctoral student in the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics. Leveraging his background as a nephrologist and clinical researcher, he develops vision transformers and multimodal models integrating EHR data with high-resolution biopsy imaging to refine diagnostic accuracy and survival prediction in renal disease. Outside the lab, David spends his time designing video games, playing board games, and skiing with family.
