David Parkinson is from Boise, ID. He obtained a BS in Biochemistry from BYU and did research in proteomics. David saw the value of computer science & statistics in medical research, so he decided to complete a MS in Biostatistics at Northwestern University. Clinically, David is interested in ophthalmology - he hopes to help build computational tools that can be used in the clinic and the operating room.

David loves to travel, especially with his wife! He also enjoys running, cooking, playing the cello, & exploring Ann Arbor!
