Driven by the goal of personalizing patient care, Morgen is a 1st year doctoral student in Dr. Kayvan Najarian’s lab within the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics. Her research integrates pharmacogenetic algorithms and machine learning to advance precision medicine, shifting the clinical focus from generalized protocols to individual-specific treatments. When she isn’t advancing patient-centered algorithms, Morgen spends her time hiking Michigan’s coasts, playing the ukulele, and turning her favorite photos into paintings.
